Uncle Brian and Colin meet!
Also let me brag that my sweet boy is now sleeping 7 hours at night!! Hooray for sleep! Next week, we begin the transition of attending a sitter. He wasn't supposed to start until a few weeks but mommy is having a really tough time and so Colin will be going for a couple of hours 2-3 times a week so that he gets used to Mrs. Leslie and a new environment. This is probably more for my sake than his but I'm telling you just thinking about not being with Colin all day, every day has me in tears. I am not over exaggerating either. The longest I've been from him is 4 hours and that was with his daddy. He's only been left with Daddy, Mimi, and Gigi. It's going to be an adjustment for us both!

My big boy and his bumbo
Well, we attempted to sit in our bumbo for a little bit but unfortunately, Colin’s big brain is too heavy to be held up for too long. We’re still building up those neck muscles! However, I couldn’t help but share these pics because my baby boy looks so grown!!
By the way, Daddy was taking the pictures and Colin was looking at mommy.

Colin is 2 months
As of July 3. :)
Thursday, we went to our 2 month doctor's appointment. Mommy was dreading this appointment as it was one that would make her little boy sad. Vaccines. Well, our boy is growing big and fast!! He is in the 50th percentile for weight but in the 95th percentile for his length. He weighs 11 lbs and 14 oz. He is 24 inches long. The doctor said he looks great and is healthy. The nurses came in and I rubbed Colin's head and talked to him while they stuck him! My poor baby screamed and cried. It broke my heart! I will admit that I cried too and couldn't even speak because I was all choked up. The nurses were so sweet and rubbed my back and told me this was the worst ones. He goes back in September for his 4 month old shots..he'll be getting 2 then. Let's hope these are easier! He was very tired and grumpy after his shots. My poor baby. I do not like to see him hurting at all.
