First day of kindergarten

PWhen did this happen? Colin's old enough to go to school!! It definitely has been much harder for me than I realized it would!  I've cried and cried. I'm so excited for him as he embarks on this amazing journey full of learning, new friendships, and discovery but the selfish part of me just wants my baby with me all the time!  The first day, he got into the car from school in an awful mood! Totally broke my heart! Why?! Because I picked him up rather than allow him to ride the bus. Excuse me little man?!?  I've been in this line for 45 minutes anxiously awaiting for you to open the door, tell me about your day, and explain to me how much you missed me! Little stinker straightened up once he saw how sad he had made me!  Anywho, this little guy is totally cool and totally cute and is loving kindergarten but he's still asking to ride the bus. 😩

I opted NOT to include myself in any pictures. Figured it best not to let anyone see a swollen face with black streaks from mascara. That was a bad idea.

During Colin's first soccer game, he scored 3 goals!! He is pretty fast and it's definitely fun to watch him play!
