Aren't you bored staying home? - my answer

I have been a stay at home now since January and several people have asked me, "don't you get bored?" Here is my response:  are you kidding me? I am the mother of 2 wild, active, inquisitive, love able, naughty little BOYS! There is no time to be bored! I am constantly cleaning, chasing, playing, disciplining, cooking, cleaning, kissing boo boos, cleaning, preparing snacks, filling up milk cups, cleaning, playing, playing,and playing. This may sound like an easy job but I've done both- stayed home and worked full time with 2 kids. Which is harder? For me,personally, I'd have to say this stay at home mom gig. It's demanding! So demanding! It's rewarding for sure!  Not even a question about that. But I have to be honest, my patience is tested quite a bit every single day. They push buttons and they don't care if you've had a rough night with very little sleep because a certain daddy has to fall asleep with the tv on and then turns into a bear snoring as loud as possible! They throw food and drinks on the floor and laugh in your face! Little boogers! They lack communication skills so if they need something, it sometimes comes out in cries, hitting, or yelling. I have to interpret the impossible! It's trial and error and with my boys, it's usually food that they're wanting. I have to constantly remind Colin that Declan is still little and I have to remind Declan that he is not as big as his brother. I referee! I am a fighter! "It's nap time" words that will bring out the ninja in both Colin and I. I almost always win. 

 Staying home with my 2 guys is an adventure and boredom is something we don't have time for at all.
